Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using hYYa ai (on iOS, macOS, Android, or the web) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. hYYa ai is an independent project operated by hYYa Apps, a sole trader — it is not a registered company or corporation.

You must be 18 years of age or older to use hYYa ai. By creating an account or signing in, you affirm that you meet this age requirement. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected information from a user under 18, we will delete it promptly. Accounts found to belong to users under 18 may be suspended without notice.

hYYa ai offers two modes:

• hYYa Vault — free, fully on-device AI. No account required. Offline by default: it works with no internet connection, and the optional features that do use the network are named in the Privacy Policy.
• hYYa Cloud — cloud-connected AI. Requires an account, and requires payment: there is no free hYYa Cloud tier. The options are hYYa Cloud On-Demand (prepaid credit packs — a one-time purchase, not a subscription) and hYYa Cloud Ultra (a monthly subscription). The price is shown to you before you buy.

The hYYa ai app is a free download and includes the on-device hYYa Vault engine at no cost. hYYa Cloud is paid, and the way to evaluate it before committing is hYYa Cloud On-Demand: buy the smallest credit pack, and if you have not spent the credits you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase (for a pack bought through the App Store, Apple decides refunds — see the Refund Policy). The paid subscription (hYYa Cloud Ultra) is billed monthly, in full at signup; hYYa Cloud On-Demand is not a subscription — it is a one-time credit purchase, so nothing recurs and there is nothing to cancel. Annual plans are no longer sold; existing annual plans continue on their current terms. There is no free trial period. Where a coupon is applied, the first charge fires when the coupon expires. Cancel anytime; your paid subscription remains active through the end of the paid period. Purchased credits do not expire. Credits you have bought stay on your account with no time limit, whichever platform you bought them on, and they are never cleared by the monthly reset that refreshes a subscription allowance. hYYa Cloud credits have no cash value. They are redeemable only for hYYa Cloud services, are not transferable between accounts, are not legal tender, and confer no property right. They are not exchangeable for money except where required by law or as set out in our Refund Policy — under which unspent hYYa Cloud On-Demand credits bought on the web or through Google Play remain refundable within 14 days of purchase.

Who processes your payment depends on where you buy. On the web, payments are processed by Polar.sh, which acts as the Merchant of Record and handles billing, tax collection and receipts on behalf of hYYa Apps; by buying on the web you also agree to Polar's terms of service. In the hYYa ai app, you buy through the Apple App Store (iPhone, iPad and Mac) or Google Play (Android), which process the payment under their own terms. Either way, what you buy belongs to your hYYa account and works wherever you sign in. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.

No refunds are issued for a subscription period once it begins. Unspent hYYa Cloud On-Demand credits bought on the web or through Google Play are refundable within 14 days of purchase; credits already spent are not. The paid subscription (hYYa Cloud Ultra) is billed in full at the start of each billing period; once a period begins, no partial or full refunds are available. Purchases made through the App Store are refunded by Apple, under Apple's policy. The Refund Policy has the details. For billing disputes, contact us at hyya.com/#contact, or the company that processed your payment: Polar (via your receipt), Apple or Google.

You may cancel your subscription at any time, where you bought it: on the web in your hYYa account settings; for the App Store, in your Apple Account's subscription settings; for Google Play, in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Deleting your hYYa account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription — cancel it in the store, or the store keeps billing you. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain hYYa Cloud access until then. Cancelling does not entitle you to a refund for the current period.

You agree not to use hYYa ai to:

• Generate, distribute, or store illegal content
• Harass, threaten, or harm other people
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service
• Circumvent any security, rate-limit, or access control
• Resell, sublicense, proxy, or otherwise provide the service or its outputs to third parties — a subscription is for your own individual use and is not an API
• Access the service through automated means (bots, scripts, or scrapers), or in a way that materially exceeds normal individual use
• Share your account credentials, or create multiple accounts to obtain credits, coupons or promotions more than once, or to evade any limit

Accounts that violate these terms may be suspended without notice, and unused credits may be forfeited. That is a consequence of conduct, not of time — it never happens because credits have been held for a while.

Your use of hYYa ai is also governed by our Privacy Policy. hYYa collects nothing from hYYa Vault mode, which is offline by default — the optional paths that use the network are named there. In hYYa Cloud mode, your messages go to the AI providers named in the Privacy Policy. If you use your own API key, they go only to the provider you chose.

hYYa ai is a personal project provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated responses may be incorrect or incomplete. Do not rely on them for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, hYYa Apps shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Jordan. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jordan.

These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of hYYa ai after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice.
